Student Type:
- Some knowledge of firearms, gun handling
or shooting.
- Can safely and confidently handle a
firearm on their own.
- Gun handling skills and marksmanship are
proficient.
- Some knowledge or skill in handgun
tactics.
Description:
- Demonstration of Handgun Proficiency
- Advanced Marksmanship Drills, Reloading
Drills, Multiple Threat Drills.
- Intermediate Tactical Drills Involving
Multiple Threats with Movement.
- Long Distance Shooting
- Shooting from Prone in various positions
- Ballistics
- Defensive Shooter’s Mindset
- Malfunctions.
- Accuracy shooting with speed is
emphasized in CQB.
Course Requirements:
- Gun, Ear protection, Eye protection, 200
rounds of ammunition.
- Holster and 3 magazines.
- Wear comfortable clothing including
closed shoes and a shirt with a collar
